Studies in Leadership – an exhibition, stretching four venues for a duration of a year in 2009/2010. The project turns its focus away from the crowd, the community or the gathering towards the leader and leadership techniques through a set of lenses: by comparing artistic agency with those of contemporary soft corporate leadership models and pedagogical methodologies, by sifting through modes of political, corporate and pedagogical address, by investigating the form of rhetorics of art writing through flammatory oration and finally by working through the ideological backbone of artistic authoring personas in a class room structure.
